The Train Like a Bomber (TLAB) in-venue program was oversubscribed and ground to a halt due to COVID-19.

Problem

Ensuring the continued growth of TLAB as a key function of the community team’s deliverables when limited to 30 face-to-face school groups per year.

Solution

To implement a robust communication and fan engagement approach harnessing multiple digital touchpoints with new and existing audiences.

Digitalising the TLAB program allowed the Bombers to provide an immersive online experience, bringing “The Hanger” into classrooms and living rooms across the country.

Results

When pandemic workforce cuts took place, the Flight Deck Portal and TLAB was fast tracked to reach new and existing fans – at scale.

Futures courses are aimed at uplifting the fan connection with community, high performance and corporate sector audiences.
