The West Coast Eagles partnered with Playbk Sports to launch Freestyle Footy — the first product within the club’s Eagles Active learning platform, designed to bring Aussie Rules into schools at scale.
Delivered through player, coach and staff led digital learning, the free course empowers teachers to confidently deliver fun, safe and inclusive AFL learning across Western Australia.
In its first 12 months, Freestyle Footy achieved strong teacher adoption, reaching 1,700+ students across structured 6-week programs — delivering more than 10,000 learning sessions and the equivalent of 400+ in-school clinics, without requiring in-person delivery.
