Bullets Assist represents a step forward in making high-performance basketball knowledge accessible to everyone in Queensland. Thanks to the support of the Queensland Government and Playbk Sports we’re breaking down barriers and giving young athletes, coaches and teachers the tools to succeed on and of the court.

Pain
Across Queensland, many athletes, coaches and teachers lacked access to consistent, high-quality basketball education.
Opportunities to learn from NBL players were limited to occasional clinics or school visits, leaving regional communities without the resources or role models needed to inspire active, healthy lifestyles.
Problem
The Brisbane Bullets faced challenges in scaling their development programs beyond in-person delivery. Demand for inclusive and curriculum-aligned basketball learning was growing, but geography, cost and time restricted participation.
Teachers struggled to integrate content into classrooms, and young athletes lacked structured pathways that connected to elite-level performance.
Solution
Playbk Sports partnered with the Brisbane Bullets and the Queensland Government’s ActiveKIT Super Round initiative to launch Bullets Assist — a free digital learning platform designed to empower athletes, coaches and teachers across Queensland.
The platform combines elite basketball knowledge with engaging eLearning content and engaging resources, led by Bullets players and performance staff, to make high-quality education accessible anytime, anywhere.
Results
Bullets Assist has transformed how the Brisbane Bullets connect with their community, extending impact from elite performance to grassroots participation.
The LMS platform now supports students, coaches and teachers statewide, breaking down barriers to learning and participation while setting a new benchmark for how sport, education and technology can work together to drive lasting impact.
