Maximising ongoing connection with fans and athletes in regional and remote areas following in-person community programs and Academy development initiatives.
Problem
Western Australia is Australia’s largest state, with a land area of 2,527,013 square kilometres and without a custom built technology solution meant fans and athletes missed out on extra opportunities to engage withe Eagles world-class expertise.
Solution
Through a strategic partnership with Playbk Sports, tailored online programs to promote education and physical activity initiatives, the Eagles can ensure a stronger sense of belonging with fans and continued development with athletes, no matter their location.
Results
Eagles Active – a club owned Learning Management System (LMS) was launched in 2025, with Freestyle Footy the first eLearning program available to all teachers.
The second digital product ia a comprehensive online fitness training for academy players and junior footballers that delivers expert-designed workouts acting as a “coach in the pocket” for aspiring athletes.
