Pain

Many of the Gold Coast Titans community programs such as Leagueability wanted to expand into new regions but lacked the systems and technology to do this effectively.

Problem

The club didn’t have a centralised IP knoweldge centre. Education resources lived in traditional formats like PDF documents and PowerPoint Presentations. This led to missing important training data, potential to lose IP with staff turnover and difficulty streamlining programs across large regions.

Solution

To innovate and uplift on existing intiatives through the creation of Titans Teach – a bespoke Learning Management System where clubs, coaches, schools and fans across Queensland and Australia could easily access world-class eLearning materials they can trust.

Results

Supported by the Queensland Government’s ActiveKIT (Knowledge Innovation Technology) program, Leagueability – Pathway To Play online program is now paving the way for thousands of Australians to participate in inclusive Rugby League initiatives.

To support the efficacy of the online content and learn more about participant engagement and outcomes Griffith University is currently leading a research project into the LeagueAbility program.
